RP Fighting Blindness Conference

The RP Fighting Blindness Conference 2018 will provide a fantastic opportunity for participants to hear from a variety of speakers; to find out more about our charity; to gain information surrounding voice recognition software and much more!

Keynote speakers include:

  • Dr Mariya Moosajee, Consultant Ophthalmologist and Senior Clinical Lecturer, Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL.
  • Victoria Skinner, our Inspirational Speaker
  • Veni Loqui, Voice Applications – use of voice recognition
  • Dr Stephen Hicks – Oxsight, Smart-Glasses

Our popular Medical Question Time will be chaired by Professor John Marshall MBE.  As always, our AGM will take place immediately after the conference closes.

This event is open to anyone affected by an inherited retinal dystrophy; family and friends; professionals working with affected families; or anyone interested in learning more about Inherited Retinal Dystrophies and syndromes, including retinitis pigmentosa and Usher syndrome.

Members of RP Fighting Blindness are welcome to take part at no charge together with a partner or guide.

Non-members are equally welcome at a cost of £30 each, which includes refreshments and lunch.

If you would like to attend the event or you have any questions, please contact the RP Fighting Blindness office for further details.
