Retina International (RI) is a patient-led global umbrella organisation run by individuals living with forms of Retinal Degenerative Conditions, be they rare and genetically inherited or age-related. The organisation provides a unique platform for the exchange of information and expertise by member organisations, patients, researchers, clinicians, policy makers and industry to expedite the journey towards treatments and cures for these conditions through effective communication and collaboration.
RI will continue to utilise every opportunity to develop useful communications tools to reach patients living with retinal degenerative conditions, and those who care for them, in order to empower the collective voice of the community so that it is heard in all matters that affect it.
We can only do this with your help and we ask you to share your thoughts on how we can improve our service to you and how we can best support you in providing you with the information to be empowered advocates.
RI is a fully transparent organisation and all governance documents, including its most recent financial information presented at The General Assembly in July 2016, is available for download in the Resources section of this website.
