Retina Action Website Coming Soon!

Retina Action is a global coalition of non-governmental agencies, charities and patient-led groups concerned with vision loss and committed to improving the lives of those affected in our ageing population.

The mission of Retina Action is to raise awareness around the importance of regular screening, early diagnosis and timely intervention to delay and mitigate the effects of complex retinal diseases, such as Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Diabetes-related Eye Diseases (DED) and other rare and inherited retinal diseases (IRD). A series of toolkits have been established as an educational resource for clinicians, patients and stakeholders so as to be accurately informed and aware when making decisions on diagnosis, treatment options and policy development.

To collate these toolkits together and form a comprehensive resource library, the Retina Action website is being developed and organised to facilitate public access to new information, findings and breakthroughs in research and therapeutic development. Supports will also be available to cope with recent diagnosis and advice to manage your condition.

These informational toolkits are accessible to the wider public and retina community through the Retina International website, which we encourage you to visit. Follow the links to read more about AMD, DED or IRD’s.

Stay tuned for the launch of the Retina Action website coming soon!
